Well I haven't uploaded any new cards lately. I just actually forget to do it. But I remembered to do it today for my Mom's New Mother's Day Card for 2013. Hope you like it.....

Hello Everyone! I am very new to all this blogging stuff, so I am just going to start out by letting you know just a bit about me first, and why I am doing this.

I am a Housewife. I have had 4 children. Three of them are grown and out of the house now. The two oldest are married and have children of their own(making me a proud grandma) and the third is getting married next month. My fourth child, my baby, is a sophomore in high school. He may be my only child to go to college. He is a very good student, so far.

I have found in the past year and a half, that I am a bit craftier than I thought. I joined the UMW (United Methodist Women) over a year ago. One of the circles I joined is a craft circle. I didn't know how to do anything until a very close friend of mine showed me how to do some things. I was hooked! I then got into scrapbooking and card making and that is what I do. Make cards!

This is the reason I am starting my own blog. I want to make cards and show them to you. I am constantly scouring the Internet and getting ideas and see so many beautiful cards out there. I want to eventually maybe try and sell mine, as I have seen some others out there, sell their cards. I am sure there are a lot of ladies out there that love to send cards, but don't have time to make their own, so they purchase handmade cards to give to their peeps. They are more personal. I will also be leaving URLs on my blog of my favorite "teachers" out there. First, I have to learn how to do it!  I am sure I will figure it out, but I am always watching for helpful hints on stuff, so please, anyone who has any helps for me, please feel free to post.

Now for a bit more about me....

My most favorite thing in my life is God. I am part of a Trio of women that sing for the Lord. We sing anywhere we are invited. Church, weddings, outdoor things, etc.... We call ourselves "Brand'New" No we are not young, but we are Brand-New in the Lord, meaning we are a new creation in Christ.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2nd Corinthians 5:17
